What material is used to make bookmarks?
Cardstock is of the most widely available and easiest materials for making bookmarks. Paper can easily be printed on a home printer, cut with scissors, embossed or laminated to make bookmarks of any size, shape and design.
Can I make money selling bookmarks?

What material is used for bookmarks?
Paper. The paper you choose for your bookmark should be quite thick, but not as heavy as card: between 150 and 250 gsm is perfect. The finish is also important – if you opt for recycled or natural paper there’s no need for additional finishes, but coated paper may be even more effective with lamination added.
Can you use an iron on laminating pouches?
Yes. I have used my iron on its hottest setting. Place the laminating pouch on a hard surface ( I just use the counter top). Put a cotton pillowcase over the top and iron until the pouch seals.
How do you seal pressed flowers?
Spray several light layers of hair spray over the petals to form a moisture proof seal. Most brands of hair spray are not UV proof, which means the sun will fade colors from your flowers. If you want the flowers to keep looking fresh, choose a different sealant.
Can pressed flowers be laminated?
To protect both the flower and the surface, it is possible to laminate pressed flowers. There are several kinds of laminators to choose from, and each is best for a different kind of project.
Can I laminate petals?
In order to laminate, I had to pick smaller delicate flowers if I wanted to laminate the whole thing. If the flowers were thicker, I pulled the petals off and laminated them on their own. The heat from the laminator did discolor a few of the petals, but not so much that they couldn’t be used.
Can you Unlaminate something?
Place the item you want to un-laminate on a non-flammable surface like a countertop. Place a cloth over the item. Heat the item with your iron or blow dryer for about 30 to 40 seconds. Peel the plastic away carefully using a razor knife to work off the plastic lamination.
